Embellish Paper piecing challenge

Hi 

 

This is my second post today!! I have a card for a challenge by embellish magazine. This time the challenge is to us paper piecing. I have been doing a lot of this recently, I just love the way you can add a bit of individuality to an image.  

Here is my card: 

I stamped the flower Image first in yellow and then in cream, just to add a bit of depth to the flowers. Then I added some Paper to the centre's.

Here is the challenge: 

I used my EK Success border punch on this card. I haven't used it for while as there are so many great die's coming out at the minute!!

Embellish Square challenge

Hi There!

 

Firstly I would like to thank everyone that left a comment on my last post! The hop was just so much fun and full of so much talent!

Today I am doing another great challenge by embellish magazine

 
I must say this really was a challenge for me as the colours are all very powerful. I decided that I would try to make the card a simple as possible.  

 

 

I stamped the background with the Papertrey ink wood grain background and it came out a little distressed and that worked fine for this card. Then I did some paper piecing with the year of the flower lily stamp. I cut most of it out with scissors and the rest with my craft knife. It didn't take too long either!

Embellish Cutesy Clean Challenge

Hi There

I was looking around for a challenge today and came across this gorgeous colour challenge from 

embellish magazine

 
I just love these colours so soft!! I decided to make a card using my Papertrey Ink Butterfly Dreams set. I brought this a couple of month ago. But this is the first chance, I have had to play with it (school holidays). I just found a new love for markers, so I decided to use one of the images that you can colour. 

 
 

I did round the corners, but didn't get a chance to take a picture. It is now sitting on a little neighbours fireplace.
