January Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Hi There

I am happy to be joining in with this months blog hop!! There are so many set's which I love from PTI, but I decided to go for the Beautiful Blooms II set and dies. I remember the first time I saw these and they were at the top of my wish list. I had so much fun playing with them.

The Brief :With the new year comes a clean slate along with many resolutions.  This month's blog hop challenge involves you challenging yourself to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that might be collecting a little dust!  Go through your stash and see what little used treasure it might hold.  If you are in need of inspiration for your chosen set, feel free to utilize the gallery posted in the side bar of each set's sale page on our website, or go to the Previous Countdown page here on my blog where each set is organized by month of release.  2011 is the year where what's old is new again!

This weekend decided to cut and stamp a few image's with nothing really in mind. Once I had them all there in front of me I had so much inspiration. I'm sure i'll be having fun with these for some time!!

Papertrey Playhouse Challenge 7#

Hi There

I am back after a very long break from card making. It felt a little weird making my first card after such a long time!! I think i'll need a little to time to get back into the flow.

I must say I have achieved a lot in my time off and sorted through every room in my house. I have also taken up regular exercise!! can't wait to see what 2011 brings!!

Today I have made a card for the Papertrey Playhouse Blog . This week it was my turn to post. The challenge I set was to make your own stamped background.

I used Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink for the background. I love the distressed look of the this background. I used a white gel pen on the rim and handle of the cup and tea pot to add some interest.
