Hi There
I am really excited to be taking part in another PTI Blog Hop!!
For this month we were asked to make a card for a winter celebration (full explanation below)
"There is always a lot of focus on Christmas in our industry this time of year, as that is what the majority of the population celebrates. However, this month's blog hop is dedicated to those that celebrate winter holidays other than Christmas. Create a project that celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or some other winter holiday as we embrace everyone's beliefs in a celebration of diversity through paper crafting."
I have chosen to make a card for Diwali the Hindu Festival of Light. The reason I made this choice is that my home town of Leicester plays a big part in the Diwali celebrations. People travel from all over the UK to visit Belgrave Road in Leicester and celebrate with a big fireworks display !!
I thought I would try to re-create my favorite firework the cathrine wheel. I used the Green Thumb set and Dots Spots to create my fireworks.
Thanks for visiting today !!
Adele
WOW..Awesome. Felt so good to see another Diwali Card. I just wanted to say that you have captured the fireworks so amazingly. I was thinking of doing that too, but could not come up with any ideas, your card just rocked it. Awesome. Loved the color combo as well. And that sentiment goes so well with this card.
