Hi There

It's been a busy week this is my third post, that's a record for me. But it has been really enjoyable. The summer holidays are just winding down and we finally got some sun!! The minute the school holidays started the sunshine was no more. It's just been rain, rain and more rain!

Here's today card. I used a sketch by 2 sketches 4 you

 


I tried something a little different today. I used a focal point from a sheet of borders by Cosmo Cricket. Then I took inspiration from this to choose the colours and feel of the card. 

This is the sketch that I used.

 

Used some bakers twine today for the first time, I'm in love with it already. Thanks for taking a look!

Hi There!!

Another challenge today by 2 Sketches 4 you. I love this challenge and play along as much as life lets me. I am sure you have noticed, if you have checked out my blog. My daughter is visiting her grandparents this week. so I have had lots of time with my son and managed to fit in quite a lot of paper crafting fun yay!! its another baby card, just enjoy making them so much. 

 
I stamped the background with PTI polka dots basics stamps set and fresh snow ink. I stamped this cute little bear from baby button bits.

Hi Everybody!!

Were still in the school holidays here, however today is pretty miserable. This has given me a great chance to finally play along with this weeks challenge at  2 Sketches 4 You

 

I've not really had much time to blog of late, had a really nice camping holiday last week on the Yorkshire coast.  Beautiful beaches and first time camping for the little one's, so it was fun!! 

In today's card i've tried to use some old supplies. I started making cards just over a year ago and  I just went round buying things which I thought looked nice. I didn't even know which adhesive to use. I am only really finding good use for them now, but I guess that just comes with more experience and not to forget the hours of pouring over amazing magazines and blogs!!

These Chip boards are from American Crafts and I think they are really cute!! Its a joy making cards for children.

Hi There

I have a 40th birthday card to share with you today. I made this card for my mum to give to my cousin next week. We are all going to a party next weekend and I am really looking forward to this as it is rare for the whole family to get together. It should be fun!!

 

my mum picked the colours for the card and I used the sketch below from 2 sketches 4 you. I ordered the in bloom patterned paper from Papertrey Ink last year and this is the first time I have used it.  I really love the soft effect. I made the flower using my Spellbinders Nestie's Flower Dies. I cut them a little to create a petal effect and curled them with my fingers.

Hi Guys

As we are now in June, I thought I would try and capture some of the lovely bright colours around. Today I used Red and Bright Pink. I have a few bushes in my garden with flowers in these colours.

 

I used the In Bloom stamp set from Papertrey Ink. The colours are called poppy red and Raspberry Fizz.

I used a Martha Stuart Boarder Punch and all the other supplies are from Papertrey Ink.

Hi There!

Today's Card is a Male inspired card. I used all my lovely Papertrey Ink supplies again, can't get enough of them.

 

The Cricket image is from the Green Thumb Set. I used the Fillable Frames 2 Frame and Die. The sentiment is from Birthday basics. The background is from Text Style 2.
